Jeffrey D. White is the new assistant principal at both the high school and middle school. Mr. White earned his bachelor's degree at Ohio Northern University. He went on to earn his master's degree in education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He also earned his C.A.S. at SUNY Fredonia.

Mr. White has ten years experience as a health and physical education teacher in both Ohio and Pennsylvania. He has also served in New York State as a guidance counselor (nine years), assistant principal (12 years), and principal (three years).

Jeffrey is married and he lives in Depew. He has three grown children: Kristen (34), Joshua (31), and Rebecca (29).

"For many years, New Yorkers have paid some of the highest property taxes in the country, spurring individuals and business owners to increasingly clamor for tax relief.

In June 2011, state leaders responded by enacting a law that places new restrictions on how school districts (and municipalities) may increase their tax levies. Although the new law has been referred to as a "2 percent tax cap," it does not in fact restrict any proposed tax levy increase to 2 percent. The law does, however, require at least 60 percent voter approval for a school budget if the proposed levy increase exceeds a certain amount."  Read the full brochure!

The New York State Department of Health has published a "Seasonal Flu Guide for Parents". This guide states, "Infants and young children are at a greater risk for getting seriously ill from the flu. That's why the New York State Department of Health recommends that all children 6 months and older get the seasonal flu vaccine."
